Pompeia Earrings Lina Bo Bardi

The Pompéia earring is a sculptural jewel by Paola Vilas that pays tribute to the iconic windows designed by Lina Bo Bardi at SESC Pompéia in São Paulo. This piece transforms Lina’s free and expressive gesture into form and volume, reflecting her view of windows not merely as openings, but as living frames connecting interior and exterior spaces.

Inspired by the irregular, organic cutouts that break the industrial rigidity of the building’s former factory structure, the earring reinterprets this architectural language as adornment. Its flowing curves evoke freehand drawing a hallmark of Lina’s intuitive and sensitive design approach.

This jewel is part of an official collaboration with the Instituto Bardi.
