Window Angular Lina Bo Bardi Ring 18k Gold

The Window Angular Lina Bo Bardi ring is a sculptural jewel by Paola Vilas, part of the Janelas collection a series that translates one of Lina Bo Bardi’s most iconic architectural symbols into jewelry: her organic openings, which shape light, perspective, and the relationship between inside and out.

Inspired by the asymmetrical windows of the SESC Pompéia, the ring features angular and irregular forms that echo Lina’s characteristic freehand drawings. More than an ornament, it is a wearable frame in silver, where emptiness holds as much presence as matter.

By revealing the skin as part of the composition, the ring transforms the body into an extension of architecture a gesture that invites contemplation and subverts the boundaries between object, space, and self.

This piece is part of an official collaboration with Instituto Bardi.

Materials: Sterling Silver (925) or Sterling Silver (925) with 18k Gold Plating.

All sterling silver pieces plated in 18k gold require special care and are subject to changes in appearance over time. Gold plating is a fine layer over sterling silver, and contact with various surfaces, exposure to chemical elements found in lotions and perfumes, and even the pH of the skin can act as a polish or chemical agent that gradually wears away the gold layer, revealing the silver beneath. Once the gold plating fades, it is possible to either replate the piece or clean it for continued use in sterling silver.
