The Glass House Pendant is a sculptural jewel by Paola Vilas that incorporates the iconic blue vidrotis from the Glass House, transforming glass fragments into true precious gems, hand-cut to reveal unique color and luminosity.
Upon the vidrotis, original drawings by Lina retrieved from the Bardi Institute's archives come to life. Symbols of her strength and imagination, such as the Venus (created at age 17), reflect the sensibility of an emerging artist and the vision of a woman ahead of her time.
On the back of the pendant, the vidrotil is secured with four metal prongs shaped like sculpted hands.
This jewel is part of an official collaboration with the Bardi Institute.
