In GESTO, Paola Vilas explores the symbolism of hands as the body's primordial language and an expression of the feminine. In 18k gold, emeralds, diamonds, and pearls, the collection transforms fragments of the body into small wearable sculptures, where jewelry and sculpture meet.

Each piece is born from the meticulous reproduction of hands at a reduced scale, preserving their anatomy and symbolic character. Talismans, objects of adornment, and extensions of the skin itself, the jewels continue Paola's research into the female body as a territory of experience, memory, and transformation.

Conceived to be composed, GESTO proposes no single way of wearing it. The pieces can be combined, layered, or worn individually, allowing each person to build their own narrative. To wear the collection is, also, to perform a gesture.
