The Alto Relevo Ring by Paola Vilas draws reference from the architecture of Tadao Ando: pure forms, geometric rigor, and an almost spiritual precision. This ring is not only about form, but about relationship.
From its structure emerge two opposing yet complementary bodies: a concave form that holds, receives, and shelters; and a convex form that rises, asserts itself, and occupies space.

Important note: All 925 sterling silver pieces with 18k gold plating require special care and are subject to changes in appearance over time. The gold plating is a thin layer over the silver; therefore, contact with surfaces, exposure to chemical elements found in creams and perfumes, as well as the natural pH of the skin, act as polishing agents or reactants on this delicate layer, gradually wearing it away and revealing the silver beneath. Once the gold plating fades, it is possible to replate the piece or clean it to be worn as sterling silver.
